Streets full of pedestrians, several vendors selling their products on the roadsides, people having tea & snacks on the stalls, fruits & vegetable markets, Spice markets & grocery stores.
After the market visit the ride will continue towards the lakes. On reaching the lake shore one can admire the beauty of these beautiful artificial lakes& take photos.

A walk, which takes you to that era of kings & palaces where life was so fascinating though very simple. This morning you will start your day with a walk through the history of Mewar kingdom. You will meet your tour guide at your hotel lobby & than drive to the starting point of the walk which is Gangaurghat. Consider as the one of the main Ghats of Udaipur. Here you will witness the people washing, bathing & worshiping at several temples on the ghat.
Continue your walk towards the famous Jagdish Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This is one of the ancient temples of Udaipur made in the 16th century. This is also one of the most active temples of Udaipur. Here you will see hundreds of devotees praying & singing.
Further down streetvisit the historic step well which is the source of drinking water in those days. The art of painting on the surface of water, it is to be said that this style of painting was started by shriRaddha the extreme devote & lover of Lord Krishna to express her love.
Today, this art is only found in the city of lakes, Udaipur. There is only one family who has kept this art alive. This form of painting is done in the temples dedicated to lord Krishna in one of the auspicious month as per Hindu calendar.
The art of jalsanjhi stars with a flat vessel fill with clean boil water. Than some secret ingredient were sprinkled on the surface of water to form a base for painting.

After completing the base, the artist pulls out some old paper stencils made by his forefathers. These stencils are very delicate & detailed. There are several stencils used one after other in one painting.
There are several coloured powders used in this kind of paintings made naturally from flowers, leaves & stones because colours made from chemical don’t float on water. The artist very carefully place & removes stencils on the surface &sprinkle different colours on every stencils to complete one painting.
Once the painting gets its final touch the artist dips his hand into the water causing the painting to ripple.
